Offering humane, science-based dog training using positive reinforcement and force-free methods to obtain desired results. This means I never use choke chains, electronic (shock) collars, or prong collars. Research has shown that dogs respond far more reliably to positive training methods than they do to the use of aversive methods. I offer group training classes, as well as private, one-on-one training.

I'm so glad I found 2 Dogz Canine Training. Darlene is an excellent instructor...kind, patient and very understanding of a dog's language. My dog has high anxiety. Just being in the room was stressful, much less needing to 'perform'. Darlene was very gentle and accepting of her, encouraging her to do as much or as little as she felt she could do. Rewards and interactions were always very positive. Now, a few months later, my dog is comfortable in class and engages with others. She shows much more confidence and is a happy girl learning new things. I couldnt be more pleased. I appreciate Darlene's influence in her growth.
