Evaluate task usefulness separately from public-access behavior

A dog may perform a useful task at home but find a crowded venue difficult. Conversely, a calm dog in public may not yet perform the intended disability-related action reliably. Record these as separate areas of progress. Ask the trainer to describe what has been demonstrated, under which conditions and what still needs teaching.

A task review can examine whether the action happens in response to the intended cue or situation, whether it is physically comfortable for both partners and whether the handler can use it when needed.
