Huffman K9 Obedience

I cannot say enough about Huffman K9. They gave us the tools and strategies we needed to take our dog from a “good dog but…” to an outstanding companion we are proud to take with us everywhere. Their private and group classes are amazing. Kayla was patient and answered all our questions. She helped us truly understand the mind of our dog so we could lead her with confidence. We will definitely go back to Huffman K9 with any dog training needs and to brush up on the skills we’ve learned.

In February our two GSD females began having same-sex aggression, their issues seem isolated to just each other. We started training with Allen in March and began seeing small improvements pretty quickly. In late June and early July both of our girls completed a 4-week Board & Train program, and since they’ve been home we’ve continued with training sessions every 2–3 weeks while working with them daily at home. It’s truly become something we’re all learning together. What I appreciate most is that the instructors take the time to listen to what we’re experiencing and tailor each training session to address our specific challenges. Every person at Huffman K9 genuinely seems invested in our girls’ success. Just a few months ago, we wouldn’t have been able to have our girls together. We still have work to do, but with Allen and the entire Huffman K9 team in our corner, I have no doubt we’ll get there. I also love that they love our girls just as much as we do. I highly recommend Huffman K9 Obedience for all your dog training needs. We look forward to celebrating all of our girls’ successes with them and will continue using them for our training and boarding needs.

I could not be happier with the training I received at Huffman K9 Obedience. Allen, my trainer, has done an amazing job of teaching/coaching me to know my dog and get her from being a highly reactive difficult dog to a more peaceable, confident and obedient one. Instructions were clear, reasoning behind concepts pertinent and helpful, demonstration and coaching superb. I have practically a whole new dog. I had tried previous group lessons, a total of 12, that got me some basics but not much. With only 8 lessons we made great progress each time. The 1 on 1 coaching was ideal. Worth every penny spent ! Highly recommend.
