FirstBarkAfter just one session, my dogs are walking a leash nicely and not pulling! They are learning better manners and get excited about training sessions. Joe is great, communicates well, and is helping us train our dogs to be better behaved.

I can’t say enough good things about West Chester Dog Training! I have a large Australian Shepherd rescue who had developed a habit of pulling on the leash, making walks more challenging than enjoyable. After just one session with Joe, I noticed an incredible difference. Walks became enjoyable again, and with each lesson my dog’s confidence, obedience, and off-leash skills continued to improve. The training was practical, personalized, and easy to incorporate into our daily routine. It’s been amazing to watch his transformation, and I’m so grateful for the guidance. Joe at West Chester Dog Training has been phenomenal to work with. Our boy Huck was pulling on the leash on walks and deathly afraid of getting into the car. Joe had him jumping into the car on day 1 and he’s well on the path to no longer pulling on the leash. We’ve since added come when called, drop, stay and frisbee catching to his repertoire of tricks. Not only do we love how Huck is learning, Huck loves the approach and process as well. Joe does a great job of tailoring classes based on where your dog is at, giving clear instructions on how to train along with homework, and spacing out the classes.
Joe is very personable and has excellent teaching skills! Very professional yet creates a casual atmosphere. Joe loves animals (and our dog) and works for success for both your animal and you! Highly recommend for a happy home for both your animal and and your pet!

Joe is such a blessing to our family! He has brought a wealth of knowledge in dog psychology to our training sessions. Joe had us walking our dog without him being overly distracted within the first 10-15 minutes of our walk. Additionally, he has modeled to us what it looks like help our pup be the best version of himself through positive reinforcement and explicit instruction. Joe does very well with training the trainers. He leads with patience and understanding with the dog as well as the people he’s assisting. I would recommend hiring Joe to help anyone train their pup. If you do you won’t regret it!
