From the very beginning, Justin at 203K9 has been incredibly responsive and patient—always answering the 50 million questions I throw his way with honesty and care. What I appreciate most is that he gives guidance based on what’s truly best for both the dog and the owner. Before working with Justin, my Belgian Malinois, Chapo, was very reactive to both people and other dogs. Walks were stressful, and he would constantly pull on the leash. But after completing the four-week board-and-train program at 203K9, Chapo is a completely different dog. He now walks calmly at heel, and the pulling is gone. Justin took the time to build a relationship with Chapo even before the training started. During our private sessions, he made the effort to really understand Chapo’s behavior and guided us on how to work with him at home. That gave me so much peace of mind when it was time to leave Chapo in his care. Throughout the process, Justin also taught us how to better understand and communicate with our dog. It wasn’t just about obedience—it was about building a bridge of communication and trust that truly changed our relationship with Chapo. During his training, Chapo learned to heel, sit, stay in a down position (even with distractions), recall, and bring the ball back on command—all consistently. Everything was taught using the leash and e-collar, and the results have been incredible. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about dogs and delivers real, lasting results, I highly recommend Justin and 203K9. The transformation in Chapo has been amazing, and I’ve learned just as much as he has.

Absolutely Exceptional Experience at 203k9 Scotty and the entire team at 203k9 exceeded all expectations! My boyfriend, my dog Tuddy, and I can't say enough great things about our experience. We are incredibly grateful for Scotty’s patience, expertise, and dedication to training our puppy. Tuddy is my second Mini Aussie, and although I thought I had the experience to handle training on my own, it quickly became more than I could manage. From the very beginning of the two-week program, we began seeing remarkable improvements—just five days in, Mari was already sending us videos showing incredible progress. She was so responsive, empathetic, and encouraging throughout the process. When it came time to drop Tuddy off, I was anxious and overwhelmed, but Jose was there to calm me down and reassure me. His kindness and confidence in the program made all the difference. Thanks to Scotty and the amazing staff at 203k9, we are now able to enjoy our time with Tuddy so much more. Gohan attended the 4-week training program. As a rescue, my baby suffers from separation anxiety and aggression towards other dogs. Due to his actions I wanted to find a quality trainer that could cater to his needs with a firm but loving touch. Fearful of how he would respond, all my fears quickly vanished after visiting the training center. The staff was so welcoming, the location is clean, and responsive to all my questions/concerns. I won't lie the cost is a lot but so worth it! I love the experience Gohan and I have had with 203K9 and Justin in the Monroe location. Justin is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all aspects of the training. Gohan loves the staff!
