It’s hard to sum up what a life changer Greg was for us and Casey, our border collie. Casey is loyal, sweet, and scared of everything. We rescued her just over a year ago. She came from a pet hoarding situation. She wouldn’t let us touch or pet her for the first 2 months. After about a year was fully part of the family and the pack-but was starting to show some behavior when excited or protecting the house that we were not ok with. This is where we started searching for a trainer. We called a few places, but she wouldn’t do well with at home training a few times a week. She wouldn’t even let someone new touch her. We needed a trainer that understood what she needed and what we were not doing for her, and Greg was the only one out of the 3-4 companies I called that actually listened to us. We agreed to work with him for a 6 week program for Casey that was exclusively at his facility. She would stay with him for 6 weeks, the first four exclusively with him and the last two for training us. Before this experience, we couldn’t even get Casey in the car. Now she can go with us anywhere. She can play safely with the whole family, and she can follow commands from any of us. She’s a much happier, more confident dog-and it’s completely changed her life an ours. We can have people over and she doesn’t hide the whole time. She’s still wary of people outside the family touching her-and that’s ok, because she doesn’t need to hide anymore. She actually cuddles with the kids now and let’s them feed her. Greg truly gave her a second take and she’s one of the best dogs we’ve ever had. He’s worth the investment, and his fees include all the tools he uses for your dog. He communicates often with updates and questions. He’s invested in the outcome.
