I cannot recommend Whitney enough for anyone in need of a top-tier dog trainer! When I first reached out to Whitney, I was at my wit's end with Dorito, my 10-year-old street rescue from Ecuador. She had a serious problem with interacting with other dogs and was incredibly stubborn—definitely what I thought to be an impossible case. I was skeptical that anything could help her in just five weeks, but wow, I was wrong. Whitney gave each session 100% attention and put in so much effort to understand Dorito's unique needs. He came prepared, always offering more than I expected and making every single lesson a positive experience for both Dorito and me. I actually looked forward to doing the "homework" because Whitney taught me so much about not just managing Dorito’s behavior, but understanding her on a deeper level. What really stood out, though, was how Whitney was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had between sessions. He was incredibly responsive and never made me feel like I was bothering him, even if I had multiple questions throughout the week. The results? After just five weeks of training, we brought Dorito to the dog park—something I had once thought was impossible—and she did AMAZING. The transformation in her confidence and behavior has been life-changing. Whitney truly is a dog whisperer, and I’m beyond grateful for the care, patience, and expertise he brought to our sessions. Whitney was the best trainer ever!! He was beyond attentive, caring, and has all the information you’ll need! Colby Jack is a very energetic dog (Weimaraner and Cattle Dog mix) and with Whitney’s help he is now the best boy ever. CJ used to lunge at other dogs, wanted to play w everyone but now I can walk him around downtown off leash. We get compliments all the time about how well behaved he is! Whitney will listen to your needs and provide exactly what you want in just 5 weeks. Thank you, Whitney!

I reached out to Whitney because my 2 year old german shepherd rescue Luna was very reactive with other dogs. I could barely take her outside without her jumping on, growling, barking and getting excited around any other dog she saw. It was hard because she loves being outside and loves going to the park so i knew i had to change that behavior so she could enjoy things that every other dog gets to enjoy. Boarding and training programs that cost thousands of dollars were not in my budget, and i also wanted to find a trainer that would help to teach me how to train her and continue correcting negative behaviors that come up. Whitney was amazing! We started with a prong collar and eventually advanced to an e-collar. I was unsure about these tools, but when you have a reactive dog, sometimes these are the only things they will respond to. The biggest thing for me was to be able to control luna when she sees another dog, squirrel or birds and of course to get her to walk without pulling. i really did not think it was possible and felt anxiety about how this would impact Luna in the long run. Whitney’s 5 week program was affordable and he has given me the tools needed to help train luna as she grows. He taught me about the relationship i should have with my dog: dogs aim to please you and once they respect you and know you are the one in charge, there is a mutual trust that keeps both parties safe, even in busy cities and stressful situations. With practice every day, Luna now knows how to walk off leash (even though i’m still nervous about that part), she responds to my commands when she is reactive, and he temperament overall has improved. I cannot recommend Whitney enough!
