I took the Canine Good Citizen class at 4otF! It was really helpful to learn skills like not jumping on strangers, ignoring other dogs, and loose leash walking in a positive-reinforcement setting. I really appreciated the super detailed homework we got every week so I had the tools to practice at home. We passed the CGC test on our first try, I couldn't believe it! I also love that my pup is completely tuckered out after class from all the brain work!

She is now 1.5 years old and serves as a service dog for MS and cancer. From the very beginning, Kelly Citrin has been a guiding light in our journey. I first knew Kelly from her work at the Montgomery County Humane Society, and I always hoped that one day she would train my future dog. When I reached out to her before even bringing Poppy home, she offered invaluable advice and guidance that set us on the right path from day one. Since then, we’ve consistently participated in classes at the 4 on the Floor center, in the community, and through private lessons tailored to our needs. I truly would not be where I am today without Kelly and her amazing team—special shoutout to Jolie, an incredible service dog trainer who has made a huge difference for us. We recently started a brand-new service dog training class, and I was blown away by how much we learned in just the first session. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, our accommodations were fully met, and every dog was cared for so well. Poppy was thrilled and completely exhausted afterward—sleeping most of the next day—but she’s already eager to train again!
