4 Paws Adrift - Canine Swim & Hydrotherapy Center (NJ)

Four Paws Adrift ....Ron and I cannot say thank you enough for all the kindness, patience, and care you’ve passed to Luna during her UWT therapy work.  It means so much to us to know that she was in such compassionate and caring hands. The encouragement and gentle approach have made such a difference, and we truly appreciate everything that was done for our Luna. On a personal note, we say thanks to Jessica, who Luna started with a few years back.  Her guidance helping Luna learn to use her back legs a bit more and grow strong went further than the treadmill session.  We’re so grateful for Jessica and her commitment to Luna as well as encouragement to me!  Secondly, Luna was able to work with another awesome coach, Joanne.  Joanne used her experience with older dogs working through the physical challenges Luna had as she aged. Joanne's encouragement, gentle approach, and steady support during the more difficult moments made such a difference with Luna's stride. Joanne had the cutest name for Luna too! I know if Luna was here ( she earned her wings) she would say " Jessica and Joanne you believed in me and helped my mom and dad and celebrated every step along the way." 💪❤️ Please to those looking for ways enjoy water with your puppy,  work with your best friend during swim classes or supporting your best friend in underwater treadmill therapy for a million reasons LOOK no further.  Four Paws Adrift is the best wave in your pup's beautiful life.  🐾🐾🐾🐾 Luna' has left her pawprint on all our hearts. 💕 Thanks again! We didn’t mind driving for an hour for an evaluation session of introducing our pup to swimming because we were looking forward to how he will do. We got there 15 mins early for our 1:45 session thinking the time is to be for prep or short talk on what to expect for the pool evaluation session like the coach making some kind of a connection to us and our dog. The place was quiet. We were told the following: Being early is good so we can finish early! Is this the first time “your dog” is introduced to water for swimming! We had to introduced ourselves and tell her the name of our dog. And as we were having what we feel is a “forced chat”because it is a paid session, she was moving around placing ramps and mats on the pool. It didn’t feel like we were expected. She did not expect the small size of the dog while giving my partner one or two vests to try on for our dog. I remember providing some information during the registration about our dog. Was it looked into prior to our being there? She asked for the treats and toys we brought and started coaching our dog to the pool. She did not even try to “get to know” our dog! It was straight up business right away. She did not try to make a “connection”except trail the treats as she tried to get him to the pool. Her actions and speech were scripted and cold LIKE the water in the pool! At exactly 2:00 pm, she called it in. Gave us a feedback and asked if we wanted to move forward for another session. I said I have a Pawfinity account and she looked at me puzzled at my statement. She said we have a client portal that I can book from )which is what I just told her). I had to show her to get it. The overall experience was COLD like the water in the pool. We felt she just winged the session.
