410K9

I started with 410K9 a while back with my 5 pound toy poodle Mia. I needed training and she did too. We had 4 home visits that I spread a part, so I could train in between, which is super important. Ali connected with Mia immediately. He taught me how to talk to the dog, handle the leash, letting Mia know that I am in control. Before this, Mia was in control. Public training was great too. Making sure that Mia, in busy store surroundings, like Home Depot and Arundel Mills Mall, that Mia would still listen to me and follow my lead, sometimes without a command. He documents everything. I can't wait for a pack walk that he offers his clients to meet up with other trained dogs. Very happy with my choice in training.

We adopted our dog, Mocha, about a year ago. He is a very sweet dog who loves people, but he is (or maybe I should say was) very aggressive on leash with other dogs. We took him to group training with a positive reinforcement trainer but saw no change in him. He was still extremely hard to handle around other dogs -- so much so that we were considering rehoming him. Then we found Ali. Ali trained both Mocha and us! The results could not be better. Now when we see other dogs, Mocha sits calmly. He has even been able to greet several other dogs without any aggression. We could not be happier. Mocha is a different dog!

Ali was absolutely incredible to work with and I can't recommend him enough! Our dog, Trace, is a three-legged rescue who had a dangerous habit of throwing himself toward passing cars. We honestly didn't know if we'd ever be able to trust him outside. Ali spent so much time working with us both at home and outdoors, helping us build Trace's confidence while teaching us how to handle real-life situations safely. The transformation has been amazing. This was my first experience with needing to train a dog and I was definitely the harder student! I struggled with using the e-collar correctly and remembering all the techniques, but Ali never made me feel rushed or discouraged. He was incredibly patient, explained everything as many times as I needed, and always encouraged me along the way. He was also so flexible with scheduling, which made training fit into our busy lives, and he was unbelievably generous with treats for Trace. It was obvious from day one how much he genuinely cares about the dogs and their owners. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated trainer who truly invests in your success, Ali is the one. We're so grateful for everything he's done for Trace!

We can’t recommend Ali at 410K9 Training highly enough! We signed up for the 12-week program with our pup, who was about a year old when we started and dealing with reactivity toward both people and other dogs. The transformation has been a complete 180 - he’s now fully trained off leash with a rock-solid recall, and the reactivity is gone. We worked in real-world environments like trails, Home Depot, Petco, and busy dog parks, which made all the difference in building skills that actually hold up in everyday life.
