Mark and Ronnie are beyond amazing. We could tell right from the start that we were sending Penelope “Penny” to the right place for Board and Train. Mark provided us with so much information about her training, including weekly videos on her progress. When we picked Penny up we saw a huge improvement. But our relationship with Mark and Ronnie continues with group and individual classes, which we look forward to going to. Not only does this help us with Penny’s training, but we get to meet some great people and their pups who are also there for continue training. Everyone there loves the results they have seen with 9linek9.

We’ve taken our Boxer, Hilo, to 9 Line K9 Academy a few times now, and every experience has been great. Mark and his team take excellent care of him — Hilo is always excited the moment we pull up and comes home happy and relaxed every time. It’s clear he feels comfortable there, and we have total peace of mind leaving him in their care. We’re also planning to enroll him in their training camp soon since he’s done so well with them. We highly recommend 9Line K9 Academy for dog training & boarding. The owners are great to work with and Mark is a highly knowledgeable trainer. Our rescue Belgian Malinois started with a few private lessons due to being shy & timid, then did a 3 week Board & Train. She came home more confident, calmer and with solid OB. We now attend group classes in an effort to get her more dog & people neutral and they are alot of fun. This is a great Veteran owned, small business that we are proud to support. The property & kennels are clean, neat & organized and just the right size, so no overcrowding. Our journey with 9 Line K9 started with a recommendation from our long-time pet-sitter, who was not equipped to handle our crazy new puppy. Her recommendation carried a lot of weight, so we gave them a try. We boarded our spastic shark for a few days and the care and dedication were immediately apparent. Though he was only there for boarding, the trainers proactively worked with our puppy, working on some fundamental skills and showing genuine love for him—a level of commitment that truly stood out. They gave us a lot of information about our dog, based on their experience, helping us understand what his needs would be and how we could work with him to benefit all of us. This incredible initial experience led us to enroll in the 3-Week Board and Train Program. Since completing it, our dog’s transformation has been amazing, and our household is significantly more peaceful. We especially appreciated the photo and video updates, which allowed us to follow his progress and stay connected. The results are undeniable. Out in public, people frequently comment on how well-behaved our high energy puppy is, especially for his age and breed. One of the best skills they trained on is recall, critical for his safety, and he is ON IT. Mark and Ronni's ongoing support through the included group training sessions is invaluable. These small-group classes offer personalized attention and have accelerated our puppy's progress. They encourage (and train - it's the people who need trained!) the whole family to work with the dogs. It’s motivating to train alongside long-term clients with amazingly focused dogs, some of whom started with significant challenges. That is inspiring to see how continued practice and development will get us to (hopefully) the best behaved and skilled dog we've ever had. The training philosophy is balanced, promoting strong leadership while incentivizing learning through positive reinforcement. Crucially, the approach ensures the dog's high-energy spirit is not broken, but channeled into excellent behavior. Their facility is modern, clean, and safe. We also greatly valued the specific nutrition and growth recommendations provided, showing their commitment to our puppy’s overall health and development. Their professional experience with dogs, patience with both the dogs and owners, is really encouraging. And they are there to help when we need it. It's like we've joined an exclusive club to help us train our chaos-hound into a pleasant family member. It's not all roses... you have to put in the work, and he's still a puppy. This isn't a magic bullet, but the potential is there, and Mark and Ronni are there, and we can and will survive puppy-hood and come out of it with a great companion. If you have a high-drive dog and seek comprehensive, compassionate, and life-changing training, we cannot recommend 9 Line K9 enough.
