A Bark Idea

Cami came to our house for a private consult with our 14 week old puppy and was great. She showed us how to work with him on things like correcting play biting, barking and learning commands, such as "leave it" -- and all using positive reinforcement techniques. She really knows what she's doing and made a big difference in a very short time -- and is reasonably priced too (and super nice). Highly recommend!

Like so many others, we made the decision to add a "pandemic puppy" to our family since we were stuck at home with kids anyway. While our Ruby is sweet as can be, she's also a very anxious pup and lacked proper puppy socialization due to getting her at the height of quarantine and having to be kept home due to a stubborn case of giardia. My friend recommended and swore by Cami and after meeting her it was very evident that Cami knew her stuff and truly has an understanding of dogs. Ruby was "going to her bed" by the end of our first training and we learned little tweaks that we could make to help change and encourage better behavior. We also sent Ruby to a couple of days of daycare/training and 4 nights of board and train with Cami, and this helped with Ruby's socialization tremendously. Thanks to her, Ruby now enjoys and wants to play with other dogs and we can actually take her on walks without her barking at every man or dog that walks by. She also helped this anxious dog mom by sending me the most adorable pictures and videos while Ruby was away from me and with her. It's apparent that she cares about her clients (both furry and human) as she continues to patiently answer my texts with advice and suggestions on how to deal with certain anxious behaviors. In my opinion, Cami is the true "dog whisperer" since she truly has a way of encouraging trust and good behavior from your pet and does so only using positive training methods. Omg! Cami and her services are the best. She is super knowledgeable and helpful. She helped train our puppy when we first got her and gave us great tips. Our 8 month old Labrodoodle, Sonny, can sit, stay and come and we are on our way to having her stay by our side without leash. She knows to go to her bed when she does something naughty and we can attribute so many of these trainings to Cami. We feel so comfortable when we go out of town leaving our sweet Sonny with her, knowing she will be totally taken care of and also trained! Oh yeah it doesn’t hurt to get photos and videos of your fur baby when you’re out of town too. She is more than a trainer or dog sitter, but feels like family is watching over your dog. Wish there were more stars!!!
