A Bark Idea

Duke has been going to daycare at A Bark Idea for 6 years now! And I wouldn't take him anywhere else. First off, the whole staff is wonderful, they take the best care of your dog and they are experienced trainers if you also need a little training for your pup! I call it Duke's "Disneyland" because the minute we are a few blocks away he knows, and he cannot contain his excitement. It is a wonderful feeling knowing Duke is in great hands and loves being there. He is a happy dog going in and coming home. Not to mention I love the check in photos, they are the best! I mean look at those smiles! If you are looking for a daycare for you fur baby this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed and your dog will love you for it!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience thus far at A Bark Idea. From our pups first day it was clear that the team genuinely cares about the safety, development and overall well-being of every dog in their care. Cami and team are consistent, patient, and clearly experienced in reading dog behavior, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Communication has also been a highlight. It’s such a joy in my day to get pics of our pup so happy while she’s there, and her excitement at drop off speaks for itself. We’ve always felt informed and included, and it’s obvious they take pride in building relationships not just with the dogs, but with their owners too. If you’re looking for a place that goes beyond basic daycare and truly invests in your dog’s growth, happiness, and safety, I would highly recommend A Bark Idea without hesitation.

We can’t say enough good things about A Bark Idea. Frankie is a very shy dog, so finding a boarding place where she feels comfortable has always been difficult. At other places she’s come home anxious and unsettled, but that has never happened here. The staff truly cares about the dogs, and the personalized updates they send are thoughtful and reassuring. We love that they keep the number of dogs small so the environment never feels chaotic or overwhelming. Every update shows Frankie looking relaxed and genuinely happy, and she always comes home healthy, calm, and in a great mood. It’s completely worth it for the peace of mind when we travel. And the occasional surprise bath before pickup is such a nice bonus!
