Around the middle of May or so, my family and I decided to adopt a puppy from the Humane Society. Our puppy, whose name is Cricket, is half German Shepherd, half lab. Immediately we realized that we were going to need some help in training him. It was very important to us that Cricket worked out and remained part of our family. So we went online and found A Better Dog 4U. I reached out to the owner Michael, who was very receptive, knowledgeable, and understanding. He was willing to come to our home for training. This makes a huge difference. Michael was able to do one-on-one personalized training with our puppy cricket, instead of having to go and be in a group and maybe only get 10 to 15 minutes. His sessions lasted approximately an hour, & are very very reasonably priced for a full hour. As compared to other trainers...(we did our research). Not only was he able to help us train Cricket, but also show us what it is we need to do after he leaves. I cannot express how wonderful it was to have him help us! The good thing is Michael is only just a phone call away, and if we have any problems or difficulties continuing on with our training, it's very refreshing to know that I can call him up and he will be more than happy to come help out again. We have a six month old black lab with a big personality. Within the first session we started to see a huge difference. She’s still got a big personality and big energy but thanks to Mike she is making amazing progress!
Mike is a great dog trainer! Very flexible, great to work with, and explains things very well. It was great for him to explain what he was doing and why, so we could continue to work on training
Micheal is wonderful. He is affordable and friendly. He trained at the park and our house. He even offered to do drop ins during the week so we could do stranger training at our house. He answered any and all questions all times of day and night. I called him at 10pm with questions and he answered right away and was happy to help! I highly recommend. 5 STARS!!!
