I can’t recommend Jackie enough!! Thanks to her, my Mastiff puppy has transformed into a well behaved certified good boy. The training approach was effective and tailored perfectly to my dog’s unique needs . They were able to teach my pup important commands and helped with his issues related to being reactive to other dogs. My husband and I reached out to A Dogs Life based on a friends recommendation. We had a crazy four month old Golden Retriever named Divot. Divot was constantly jumping, biting, barking, and showing signs of food aggression. My husband and I didn’t know where to start with training him and it felt like nothing we tried worked. I was pregnant and with his behaviors I had concerns of how Divot would behave with a baby in the house. After working with A Dogs Life for a few months, Divot was a completely different dog. We didn’t realize how much he needed structure and consistency. A Dogs Life really trained my husband and I more than training Divot. We had to learn how to best handle his needs. We have since welcomed our baby and Divot is the best big brother! We are so thankful for the training we all had from A Dogs Life!

Jackie and Alois are professional, compassionate, and experienced dog trainers. We dropped our ten-month-old puppy (Sarai) off to Jackie and Alois for their four-week board and train program and were more than satisfied with the results. Sarai was a pup that was rehomed to us, didn't know any basic commands, and did not have much confidence because our other pup was the alpha as soon as she arrived. We needed help and liked how Jackie explained her training methods to us. Ultimately, they do the heavy lifting regarding training, and we must continue to enforce the repetitions afterward to ensure the training sticks. Jackie and Alois provided constant updates and pictures regarding Sarai's progress during the four weeks. They also scheduled two appointments with us during this time to ensure that we were satisfied with her progress and to teach us everything Sarai had learned. Jackie also gave us a class on dopamine levels in dogs and other helpful information. During our last training session, we were in disbelief at what Sarai had accomplished in four weeks. Sarai was listening to all of the commands, would stay in place off the leash, and was more confident. We are blessed to have found Jackie and Alois to train our dog. They sent us home with a well-trained dog and course material to ensure we continued training Sarai. They genuinely enjoy their profession with the details and training they incorporate into their program. Additionally, we were satisfied with Sarai's results; we decided to schedule our other pup for 8 weeks of one-on-one sessions to help improve the commands she already knows.
