Aimee is amazing! She is so accommodating, curtaining her training to your own personal needs. Her communication is top notch, she is prompt, energetic, and real. She included the whole family in training sessions since they are stakeholders as well. I really can’t say enough great things about her. My dog is more confident, better behaved and we have the tools to communicate with him. He’s not easy by any means but Aimee had the patience and tactics to work with him.

Aimee did an amazing job teaching me how to work with my five-year-old rescue. When I adopted my dog, he didn’t understand commands (not even sit), had no leash training, and he was exhibiting some resource guarding that I wanted to address before it got worse. My dog was immediately responsive to the training, and he took really well to Aimee. I was able to build on what she showed me with each additional session. We started out with basic commands at my home and worked our way up to sessions outdoors intended to address reactivity on walks. A lot of the training was really for me to understand what my dog’s behavior was actually communicating to me. That understanding was so helpful. I’ve been able to build trust with him as I continue to work with him to apply what she taught me. Aimee is overall an excellent trainer, but I would definitely recommend her to anyone with a rescue dog. The positive reinforcement is great for shelter pups. So many rescues have unique quirks, and Aimee will help you understand what is going on with your dog. Thank you, Aimee.
