Our highly energetic husky mix was trained here several years ago and the training stuck - not just because of what the dog learned but what we learned from Jake. He trains the dog and the owner for the best results and we’ve had a well-behaved member of our family ever since. Especially recommended for families introducing dogs to new children.

Jake was always there to answer any questions we had and was very patient with us along the way. He was very easy to talk to and gave us a TON of extra information. His services are worth so much more than the price he charges! He did a great job. We could not have asked for more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Jake is amazing! Our Luna does so much better walking on leash when we go on walks. Before she would choke herself. She does very well with the off leash as well. Well worth it!

Jake is a phenomenal trainer and so easy to work with! When he came to our house for a consult, we had just adopted a 9 month old GSD and she was pretty nervous. He calmed my fears and answered all of my questions with confidence. Then, he told me to imagine having a kids birthday party and Nova staying on her bed while all the kids were running around and playing. (I thought this was crazy and never going to happen, haha!) But boy, did he deliver! Nova came home with such manners and she wasn't anxious in her environment anymore. We had a birthday party for my 3 year old that weekend and she stayed on her bed, unless she was invited off, and no one could believe how well behaved she was! I get asked nearly every time I take her out who trained her, and I happily give out A Leg Up K9's info. Even on hikes! Thanks, Jake! We love working with you and will continue to recommend you to everyone who has a 4 legged family member.
