A Peaceful Pack

I fell in love with Briar the moment I saw him and adopted him on April 14. His past was heartbreaking—he had been abused, shot, severely malnourished, and was suffering from hypothermia. It was clear from the beginning that he had a lot to be afraid of and serious trust issues, especially with men. Because we weren't given much information about his history, I had his DNA tested. I’ve trained a lot of Labradors over the years, but Briar was very different. Traditional training wasn’t working well, and he was showing signs of aggression in the form of nipping. More on that in a minute. That’s when a friend recommended A Peaceful Pack Board and Train program. It turned out to be exactly what Briar needed! Briar just completed four weeks of training with Andrea, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Andrea was absolutely amazing—and Briar LOVES her! She communicated clearly throughout the process and worked closely with me to make sure I understood and could continue using the techniques at home. The transformation has been incredible. Briar is no longer nipping at people, which, as it turns out, is actually a genetic tendency. His DNA results showed he is 50% Rottweiler, 29% Australian Cattle Dog, and 21% American Pit Bull—meaning he has a LOT of herding instinct! Andrea had already picked up on that before even knowing his DNA results. I highly recommend A Peaceful Pack to anyone who wants a well-behaved, happy dog. But I especially recommend them to anyone who adopts a dog. When you don't know a dog's history, having the right training and guidance can make such a difference. My goal was to give Briar the very best opportunity for the best life possible. A Peaceful Pack has helped me do exactly that. We had an incredible experience with Peaceful Pack. I cannot recommend this program enough. Our bernedoodle puppy completed the 4 week training program with Andrea. She came home so calm and loving. She was still her spirited self, without the puppy behaviors (chewing, jumping, etc). She is potty trained and sleeping through the night in her crate. We are so happy to have our girl home but we couldn’t have done anything with Andrea and Peaceful Pack!

Peaceful Pack Dog Training was one of the best investments we've made for our family. We have two very different dogs: a 10-month-old puppy who is full of energy and all the typical puppy antics, and a sweet but stubborn 3-year-old. Our trainers, Tony and Sydney took the time to understand each dog's personality and tailored their approach to help both of them and us succeed. One thing that really stood out to me is how much thought they've put into teaching the humans, not just training the dogs. As someone with a background in instructional design, I could immediately tell they've invested a tremendous amount of time into creating a program that recognizes training is a two-way street. We received an electronic packet filled with helpful videos, PowerPoints, and easy-to-understand resources, but beyond that, the daily videos and photos, text updates, clear explanations, and in-home training sessions made the entire process feel manageable and empowering. The results have honestly exceeded my expectations. Our dogs now wait politely at thresholds before going outside, and I can comfortably walk both of them together, something that previously felt impossible because they dragged, tangled each other up, and pulled in every direction. Those changes alone have made everyday life so much more enjoyable. What excites me most is knowing that this is just the beginning. With continued consistency and practice at home, I truly believe we're going to enjoy the benefits of this training for years to come. It's already opening the door to so many things we couldn't confidently do before like traveling with our dogs, taking them on outings, and simply including them in more of our family's life. Tony and Sydney were the trainers assigned to our dogs, and we couldn't have asked for a better team. Each brought their own strengths, but they shared the same qualities that made the experience so positive: kindness, patience, collaboration, and a genuine desire to help both our dogs and our family succeed. They were incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and encouraging, and they always took the time to explain not just what to do, but why it mattered. We never felt overwhelmed, only supported. This was absolutely worth the investment, and I would recommend Peaceful Pack Dog Training to anyone looking for lasting results and the confidence to continue building on that training at home.
