A Very Good K9

My rescue puppy has always been very timid towards new people, and definitely beats to his own drum with training. To say he LOVES it here is an understatement! My dog’s confidence has grown, he howls every time we leave because he’s leaving his friends, and can’t wait to go back. A Very Good K9 has been such a blessing for me as a travel nurse trying to integrate my pup into this transient lifestyle!

We sent our dog, Lana, to A Very Good K9 for their three 3 week board and train. They were eager to get to know our dog and work with us on our goals for her. They routinely sent us updates letting us know her progress throughout the program with pictures and videos, so we never had to wonder how she was doing! Haley and Austin are excellent teachers and are able to walk you (and your dog) through the training with excellent communication and hands-on demonstration. They allowed us to set goals that we could achieve with their training tools. Their patience, dedication, and love for all dogs is what makes them stand out from other trainers. After using their teaching, we have a more positive, trusting relationship with our dog. We are now able to incorporate her into our busy lifestyle, bringing her to public areas busy with people, other dogs, food, and loud music (i.e. restaurants, parks, beaches) and we know she has the confidence to thrive in these environments. I cannot recommend them enough. I will be using their services again and again!

We thought there was no hope for our two dogs, but Austin and Haley worked wonders with them! They had open communication daily, explained every step of training, and truly have a passion for improving the relationship between dog and owner. Our dogs are more confident, calm, and a joy to walk in the neighborhood. For boarding or training, A Very Good K9 will always be our recommendation to everyone! ❤️🐶❤️
