Dog training using the positive reinforcement method. Group classes and private lessons in basic & advanced obedience, behavior issues & agility are available. Positive dog training is about establishing a communication system between you and your dog. By using the principles of positive operant conditioning and classical conditioning, we teach you to shift your focus from punishing your dog when they misbehave, to rewarding your dog for what they do right by using praise, food, toys or anything that your dog may love. By ignoring, managing, preventing and/or redirecting the wrong, undesirable behaviors, your dog will learn to make right, more desirable choices.

Great experience for my dog and myself! I was given the tools to help my pup be a well behaved one! Highly recommend this class! It is worth it! I feel they are with you at every step!

We did three private lessons with Sally at ABC Dog Training for our 1-year-old, 100lb Rottweiler, Storm. Our main goals were to work on jumping, greetings, and recall. Sally has been fantastic—she’s incredibly knowledgeable and provides clear, detailed homework after each session. She’s also responsive and available to answer questions outside of training days, which is very helpful. We’re starting a group class with her next, and I’ll be sure to follow up with an update after that. We love our Storm and want to make sure we’re communicating with her in the right way, and I truly believe Sally is helping us achieve that.
I highly recommend Sally and her training program. It is all done with positive reinforcement and consistency. She did a great job with my nine year old dog Buddy. She certainly taught an old dog new tricks!!!
We had such a great experience with ABC Dog Training. Miss Sally was great with the pups but more importantly, training the humans! Our Australian shepherd is 10 months old and with Miss Sally’s training we are able to provide our dog with a learning foundation, and practice the tools daily that led to excellent results. We are looking forward to taking more classes and advancing our dogs skills!
