!!!!!!NOT SUITABLE FOR DOGS THAT HAVE BEHAVIORAL ISSUES, ANXIETY OR SEPARATION ISSUES.!!!!!! I brought my dog Luna here January 2021. This place was highly recommended by a friend of a friend. I chose the boarding program as my dog had very bad anxiety and separation issues. I explained to them in very detail everything related to my dog, and the outcome I wanted. One thing that rubbed me wrong from the start is that they use the shock collard to train their dogs. Which by the way cost me another $190.00. Ignorant to this method not being suitable for every dog, I agreed. I dropped off my dog and left her to their care for a week. I would get updates everyday on my dogs progress. When the boarding was scheduled to end- They asked to extend the time that they would keep my dog for because her case was a bit complicated. I agreed as I truly just wanted my dog to be anxiety free. When I got my dog back she was worse than before. She was shaking and drooling by uncontrollably. The trainer explained that the settings for the shock collard had to be at 10 (SUPER WRONG FOR MY DOG) So at home we were using it at the level for which they had specified. I just couldn’t continue, my dog seems so depressed and not like herself. I contacted the trainers again and explained the situation. They asked me to come back in to go over everything they taught her. I went in and discovered that her shock collard settings should’ve never been placed at such high levels. I also learned that they didn’t treat her for anxiety or separation issues, they just packed a bunch of commands in her brain for me to follow with. Commands for which she already knew half of as we had been training her at home. I ended up with a shock collard that I will never use. My dog runs and hides every time I would pull out the collard to put on her. She had burn marks on the area where the collard was shocking her. She still a very anxious dog and her separation issues are even worse than before. I spent a total of $1,800.00 and they truly did nothing for my dog. They offer lifetime group training sessions for which I’ve only attended once. So for obedience- yes this might work, but for anxiety, fear, separation issues and behavioral issues- this is not the place to go. They were very misleading at the beginning to lure you in and very dismissive when I presented my concerns.
