Academy of Canine Behavior

Took my one year old puppy here for the board & train program as he was having an extremely difficult time with reactivity on a leash and obnoxious barking at other dogs. This behavior had snowballed into making daily walks and outings so stressful that I started avoiding them. We tried two classes at Petco, which were great for fundamental skills but didn’t address these bigger issues going on. The Academy instantly made me feel confident after the free evaluation and we signed up right away. After two weeks, I picked up my pup and hardly recognized him. He is SO behaved! Not only does he listen to me much better, but we can go on walks without any stress as he learned skills and behaviors to not be bothered by other dogs when outside. I highly recommend this program and Madison as a trainer!

Carefully designed to keep their behinds safe and lawsuit free, these trainers and behavioralists can only go so far until an actual serious event occurs. If your pet is more anxious than others, watch them feint ignorance and refer to their release waiver that they have you sign. Who’s to think an accident would fall upon them? Forget your peace of mind, and save your money. God forbid I try to sleep peacefully at night knowing this is the care my dog gets from them. Awful, awful experience.
