Moose is a very powerful and great temperamented Rottweiler that was a pleasure to train and bond with. He's a great example of what a Rottweiler should be for the breed standard. What makes his temperament come together is the love that he gets from you, and from us when he is here. It's always a pleasure to have him back for boarding. I have had a lot of Rottweilers of my own over the years. Not many could compare to Moose. In fact, the worst dog bite I have sustained in my career as a dog trainer was from a Rottweiler named, Lowerhart Apollo Bear, "Apollo". Apollo was a personal protection dog of true aggression whos pedigree remains framed on my wall as a reminder of what true aggression is, that which all too often people today mischaracterize the words of aggressive and aggression. Apollo was the epitome of the term "aggressive". I took three rapid bites from him to my right hand that resulted in a serious crush injury that required 6 months of physical therapy and immeasurable pain an suffering to recover from. With that experience as a reference, puncture wounds and scratches from dogs teeth these days are inconsequential to me as a dog trainer. It's part of the job. Apollo's date of birth was 12/16/1996. I euthanized him in 2001 when he was 5 years old when he challenged me in a situation that I only got out of by the Grace of God. Wow, that was more than 21 years ago! He was 110 pounds of pure muscle that ran up and down a mountain 10 miles daily for conditioning while I rode my ATV. He was a tool, not a pet. He was a bodyguard in a dangerous business that I was in. I have had and trained many Rottweilers since Apollo but none filled the shoes of him. He would want to fight with lightning in a thunderstorm and had no fear of anyone or anything. He served a purpose and served it well. But, a dog should never bite the hand that feeds it. I tried to get him into the Army when the US was in Afghanistan as an alternative to euthanization but he was a few months too old.He would have been perfect for sending into caves to clear them of terrorists. He was and remains to be a legend to those who knew him. Moose is a great Rottweiler and you are a great woman Krista. We love both you and Moose. Mi casa, tu casa! My home is a second home to Moose.

Dog training business does keep us busy but never too busy to acknowledge the good comments such as from people like yourself who appreciate what we have done for them and their dogs. We love the little quip of "Silo gives him two paws up." Silo was a very nice GSD to work with and his family was especially a pleasure to communicate with and work with. Our relationship with our clients and their dogs does not end with the day that their dog goes home. It is truly an honor and a privilege to have a review by Mr. Nahas and his partner. You cannot learn it watching YouTube because true dog trainers do not have time to make videos for YouTube because they are in such demand. Sam is a very high drive, dominant, male standard poodle.
