ACC (Applied Canine Concepts LLC)

Our 4 month old Portuguese Water Dog was very impulsive with continuous jumping and biting. She’s a very sweet and smart puppy but we knew if we didn’t seek training she wouldn’t enjoy the life she was meant to live. ACC was recommended to me and I gave them a call. From the initial conversation to present date, the communication has been delightful. We signed up our sweet puppy for 3 weeks of training and it’s a blessing we did. She has the basic fundamentals that as a family we will continue to build upon. We need more continuous training than the dog, and ACC is there to support. Our goal is to allow our dog to enjoy boating and living off leash and to be a joyful but obedient part of the family. It was tough to leave her for 3 weeks, but well worth it. Riley is top-notch and cares for the dogs and shows extreme patience with the doggie parents. We’re more equipped to communicate effectively with the dog and look forward to many adventures ahead, especially knowing ACC provides lifetime support.

We are very happy we chose Applied Canine Concepts (ACC) for our Catahoula puppy, Dash. His personal trainer, Riley, kept us consistently informed and provided regular—almost daily—updates on Dash’s progress. During the intake check-in, we clearly communicated the skills and behaviors we wanted Dash to learn, and when we picked him up a few weeks later, it was clear those goals had been successfully instilled. At pickup, Riley also took the time to walk us through training instructions so we could continue reinforcing what Dash learned at home. Most importantly, Dash is still the same sweet, fun puppy we love—just better trained and more confident thanks to Riley’s work.
