DO NOT… avoid this man at all costs. We sent our gorgeous solid black German shepherd to Dan, entrusting him with only basic obedience— nothing major… also trusting him to take good care of him for 6 weeks. ONLY six weeks. Over 10 whole weeks pass… he’s not responding to my voicemails or texts..that all seemed to stop after the first couple of weeks. Not getting good vibes at that point. I NEVER got photos, videos, nothing. At that point I’m getting concerned. Our dog is like a family member… so I call our breeder to inform her, worried about why we are being avoided?! She said it sounded sketchy- so she called him herself to feel him out. Not good. she told us get that dog back and fast. We had go get the local police involved otherwise he could try to steal him or worse… and we had stupidly signed his bs contract, so any dog can “disappear” or “ pass “ in his care….so we had to get police involved. We drove out there w an officer. Dan was (surprise surprise) nowhere to be found… the property looked nothing like the photos on his scam website. It gave me “puppy mill” vibes and that was so upsetting. Some doped up lady told the officer our dog wasn’t there. Lies. Officer told her she better give the dog back or he’d go look himself. Suddenly , she had our dog in the back.🤨 Our dog was sick… at least 15 pounds underweight… panting from NO AIR … and he was very damaged. My husband, , who doesn’t get emotional, even cried bc he was in such a bad condition. It was terrible. It took a whole month for him to bounce back and readjust to home life. I fully believe Dan was trying to keep our dog to breed him behind our backs. Dan seemed oddly interested in whether he was fixed or not. he didn’t even care to take our dogs special food when he picked him up. Our dog was not mean or vicious… Dan was claiming it was taking “longer” due to his aggression. All red flags 🚩 🚩 we sadly didn’t notice until later. Please do NOT send your pets to that man, if you care about their safety at all.

Mr. Dan has always been my family’s go to. From when I was 8 years old to even now when I have a dog of my own. He has always trained the best of our dogs. Our Doberman loved him! Was trained so well, we didn’t even have to train our other dogs. Our Doberman taught them. Now, he took our rescue pitbull and it’s such a difference. We are still working on some things, having to do with her trauma and not anything to do with Dan. Yet, he has always been reachable. He has even come down to see us in Houston to help train us to do better with her and to help correct things with her. The minute she sees him she is so excited. It’s like we reunited her with her best friend. I whole heartedly recommend this place. He goes above and beyond.

I have used Dan before but this time it was different. I allowed him to train my Rottweiler. When I gave him to Dan he was nearly 110 lbs. When he was returned over two months later he was 88lbs. He was returned with bite marks and other scars. He was returned malnourished and deeply depressed. Not only did we pay a good amount for the so called training but now we have incurred additional veterinary bills. And the training…he was returned with what appears to be no training at all. Dan also physically abused our dog in front of us pulling with all his force and both hands on the choke chain to correct Kyzer for his lack of training. I will never send my dog to his place again. Dans response…dogs lose weight when training and I over fed him. 🙄 maybe dogs do lose a few pounds but 20??? And he had no response to the bite marks. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed.
