Advance K9

I contacted Sean when our training had stalled. Ember had lost her enthusiasm and I didn’t know how to proceed. We needed help. I opted for private lessons with Sean and it was definitely the right decision! Sean is pleasant, patient, easy to work with and knowledgeable. He was great about answering texts and calls. In our first lesson Sean observed how Ember and I worked together and tailored future training to our needs. He took the time to answer my questions and offered suggestions on training tools that would help. One tool was the e-collar. Initially Ember wasn’t receptive to the e-collar and we had to take a break from it. Thanks to Sean’s knowledge he came up with a different approach to introduce the collar, which worked and it has become a valuable tool. Thanks to Sean, Ember and I made great progress and are back on track.

Sean at Advance K9 has been amazing for our three year old goldendoodle. Before working with him, walks were a mess and nothing we tried ever helped. Sean showed us how to use an active collar and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. The change was instant, and we can finally walk our dog without getting pulled everywhere. He also helped us with crate training, worked on lots of other commands, and gave us simple techniques that really calmed our dog’s reactive behavior. Sean is patient, professional, and genuinely cares. He even stayed longer than scheduled just to make sure we felt good about what we were doing. We highly recommend him and would absolutely work with him again.
