Our dog Apollo recently completed a 3-week training program with the Advanced Canine team, and we truly could not be happier with the experience. Like many dog owners, we were incredibly nervous about leaving Apollo for several weeks. From the very beginning, however, the team made us feel completely at ease. They were reassuring, professional, and genuinely cared about Apollo's well-being. We knew he was not only safe and well cared for, but also in the best hands to help him reach his full potential. One of the things we appreciated most was their communication. Throughout the entire program, they kept us updated with pictures, videos, and progress reports, allowing us to see firsthand everything Apollo was learning. It meant so much to stay connected to our sweet boy while he was away and to watch his transformation unfold. Our main trainer, Emily, was absolutely incredible. She was the perfect fit for Apollo and demonstrated an amazing balance of patience, consistency, and dedication. She helped him work through challenges and barriers that had been holding him back, and the progress he made under her guidance exceeded our expectations. What truly sets Emily apart is that she didn't just train Apollo—she trained us, too. She took the time to thoroughly explain the training methods, answer every question, and provide practical tips and resources that we can continue using at home. Her attention to detail and commitment to setting both Apollo and our family up for long-term success was remarkable. We are so grateful to Emily and the entire Advanced Canine team for the care, effort, and expertise they invested in Apollo. The confidence, trust, and peace of mind they gave us throughout this process was invaluable. We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a team that genuinely cares about both dogs and their owners. First rate company- they KNOW what they are doing and do it well. Our stubborn strong willed Australian cattle dog has been a challenge for us since we rescued him a year ago. We tried an in home trainer that scratched the surface for our needs. ACD had him disciplined and obedient in two weeks. They used positive rewards and strong discipline when needing corrections but never with anything painful to our dog. All the dogs were happy and well behaved and the kennels were clean and organized every time we went for a lesson for ourselves. Training us was critical as we were a big part of the problem- but we never knew it. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a trainer to help you with your dog’s behavior. They taught him to ride in a golf cart and a car with control (no excessive barking or pacing) - we can now control him on walks. He has only been home for a day and already we see amazing results! A pest control person came to our door and knocked and where before he would have lost it (barking and trying to get to her) we were able to manage him on a leash and with vocal commands. We are looking forward to a new and more manageable, peaceful life with our blue heeler, Dango. Thank you especially to Emily (his primary trainer) and Mark (owner). You guys are the best!!
