Advanced K-Nine Training

Mike came highly recommended by several close friends. He is a great guy and an awesome trainer! We had great results with our boxer and golden retriever after their puppy board and train stay. We scheduled follow up lessons and Mike worked with each of my kids and me until we got the training techniques down. He was calm, patient and encouraging. He is full of knowledge and always willing to answer questions even after training. We board our dogs with Mike while on vacation and plan to book more training!

We came to Advanced K-nine with our 7-month-old border collie (Lucy) who had a crazy-high energy level, bad listening skills and virtually no “off” button. We have two small children at home (1 & 3) so her energy was constantly getting her into trouble, and we were getting concerned about her lack of regard for our kiddos safety as she would often get a little too rowdy with them. After a stay with Mike, Lucy went from an uncontrollable energy bomb with no purpose or direction to a well-behaved pet who is a pleasure to have around the house and the farm. Our concerns with the kids are gone, and Lucy is a pleasure to walk both on and off the leash. Mike even went above and beyond our package, keeping Lucy for a few extra days to really guarantee that she was able to focus on her commands despite any potentially crazy “child-created” distractions in her environment. After Lucy’s stay at Advanced, the info that Mike gave us in our follow-up sessions helped my wife and I understand how to reinforce Lucy’s training to ensure she keeps her good behavior moving forward. It’s been a few weeks now and we (and our children) are still very happy with our new and improved Lucy. We can’t recommend Mike enough and are super grateful he was able to turn our wild dog into a well-behaved member of the family!

We are very pleased with the results! Mike was great with our dog !! We have a now seven month old Doberman that is just so hyperactive and needed some obedience training , (so did we!😅).We dropped him off for the five day on leash training with the expectations clearly explained to us. the results were exactly what was told to us. Axel will heal, sit, lay , stay On command! He will climb for periods of time, but still test us with this command! he’s seven months old, and still a pup this is to be expected! We are very pleased with the results, and will go back in the future for off leash training! Thank you Mike😊

Scroll down for 6 month update… Original Review: Simply amazing. Our 4 month old goldendoodle did the 12 day board and train. To say it was worth it would be a massive understatement. Mike works wonders. Our guy went in as an unruly puppy and came out a perfect gentleman. It’s hard to believe but we are now are FIRM believers in how well this works. He’s magical. I would say call him magic mike but that might be inappropriate. Call him what you will…just call him! Updated 6 month review: Around 6 months old we sent our goldendoodle back for Mike’s off leash training and WOW!!! Our guy is now 11months old and he is SUCH A GOOD BOY. Worth every single dime. People often comment on how well behaved he is. Which was all Mike and Nate. They are seriously so amazing. Off leash is where it’s at. We are over the moon with how the results of the programs have turned out. Again…worth every dime. These guys are amazing and so is our doodle boy thanks to them.
