My experience with Shay and Lindsay has been nothing, but stellar. From the consultation to the pick-up of my dog there was never a missed beat, lapsed contact or any sense of anything less than diligent professionalism. To say I was struggling with my pup would be a huge understatement. Being 24, balancing social life, professional life, and a little puppy can be a recipe for disaster!! My 6 month old Australian - Shepherd went to a couple different trainers and I was seeing ZERO RESULTS!! Frantically trying and constantly failing I was finally giving up hope. He needed a lot of help. He was timid, overly energetic, constantly vicious towards other dogs and people. I then reached out to Shay and Lindsay. My dog “Leo” went into the care of Shay and Lindsay for the board and train program. I knew that being away from him for quite a while was going to be a challenge, but it was what needed to happen. I must strongly attest to the quality, care, compassion & thoroughness that went into his training. Every single day I was treated to an update on his progress, it was very satisfying watching my dog work his way through training and I was deeply impressed when the time came to pick him up. Shay and Lindsay carefully and patiently educated on how to "use" and maintain the skills that they so competently imparted to my dog. They wouldn’t let me go until I knew every single command! The relationship did not end with there, Shay and Lindsay both continue to check in and make sure I am happy and Leo is happy. I feel as if I’m getting the maximum out of Leo’s training. Leo is now able to do and engage into so many other activities that he wasn’t able to do beforehand. If you’re reading this and wondering if this is for you, there’s a short answer here YES!! It was worth every single penny and more. Leo constantly gets compliments on how obedient and well behaved he is. Thank you to Shay and Lindsay for giving me the best possible version of Leo!! Also thank you for educating me and helping me be a better dog owner!

Best training experience I've ever had!! I have a 2 year old Doberman, he's my first dog. I have worked with four trainers during that time, two of which were board and train experiences. Shay and Lindsey by far were the best and brought my dobie's obedience to the next level! They're super talented, but where they really shine is the time they invested in me as an owner, something I never expected. They went the extra mile to equip me with tools and knowledge, through real world scenarios. Bit by bit they building my understanding and skill. They showed the utmost care for my dog's performance and wellbeing. They coached me on how to become a more confident leader in my dog's life, and always answered any questions I had. I sincerely believe I'm a better dog owner because of their hard work, attention to detail, and passion for they share for turning every dog into a success story.

Shay and Lindsay are amazing to work with. They are incredibly skilled at reading dogs and crafting training that works for each owners specific concerns. I wish I didn’t hold off seeking them out, a few weeks of training completely changed my dog’s undesirable behaviors while keeping the playful personality intact. Our dog is a 3 year old golden-doodle who prior to training would pull on walks, jump at guests inside the house, and bark/pull if we took him with us to a brewery. Shay and Lindsay worked with us to hear out our concerns, evaluate the dog, and made recommendations on how to correct. We went with training several times a week so that he’d be off leash capable. The training is as much for the owners as it is for the dog. They taught my partner and I the skills to fix things we were doing incorrectly with our dog. We needed to work on our bad habits, but it always came from a place of learning, not criticism. They would explain how the dog perceived what we were doing and then correct us so that we’d be better owners. We know even after training we need to keep consistent with our and our dog’s behaviors but they gave us the tools to do that. It was such a joy to go out with our dog and have him lay down and relax with people and other dogs walking by. He’s able to be off leash and we’re so much calmer now. We can’t thank them enough for giving us so many more happier memories taking our dog with us out and about!
