Advanced K9 Academy

Lindsay and Shay are the absolute BEST and care about the success of your furry family members!!! We started working with them at the end of November when we needed help with our rescued girls. The girls are extremely friendly but we had no control and we had no way to walk them together and couldn't understand best way to handle them. Lindsay and Shay came in and right from the first day we could tell that they knew what they were doing and understood our girls. Lindsay and Shay spoke their language!! We signed up right away for the advance obedience program and our lives changed drastically. We can walk our girls off and on leash without any issues. Our girls now trust us and look to us for guidance. Their training is the best we have seen (we tried others before) and it takes work and dedication from everyone involved. The key is to follow the doggie bootcamp rules without deviations and the results will surprise you! We look forward to graduation day and to future pack walks!!! Miguel and I can thank you enough!!! Better than I ever could have hoped for… for my dog of course. If you don’t want to carry around a 5 pound bag of treats like most trainers want you to so your dog will listen/respect you then Shay and Lindsay are for you. Before them our German Shepard would get too excited on a leash, around other dogs and had almost zero recall. After 20 sessions with Advanced k9 we now can walk with no leash in public, around others dogs and call ours back at any point. He has more confidence than ever thanks to Advanced K9. If you stick to the program your dog will stick to your hip for the rest of their life. Would 11/10 recommend them for any dog who needs better obedience and or social skills. Thank you guys again!

Shay and Lindsay are both very knowledgeable in understanding dog’s and their behaviors. They came and asked me what I wanted fixed with my Chocolate Lab’s behavior then assessed my dog and proposed a plan to work with the dog ,and then guided me in knowing what to do with Maggie to keep her on track. If you are looking for a healthy happy dog and owner. Give them a call. It makes the whole difference in having a well trained dog and owner. You will get compliments on your well trained dog and have so much more fun with him or her.
