Adventure Gundogs

We got our male WPG pup from Don in July, 2024 and couldn’t be happier. He is learning fast and is brave about trying new things, he gets along well with our other dogs and cats, and generally has a great, mellow personality. Don does a wonderful job raising his puppies and I will come to him first if I need any help with training in the future. We’re so glad we found Adventure Gundogs! If I’m ever looking for another WPG, I’ll call Don first.

Don loves dogs. We have been working with Don Evanson for about the last six years with our Wirehair pointing Griffons. He has prepped both of our dogs for the NVHDA natural ability test, and has shown one of our dogs at the same test scoring a prize one. We trust Don with two of our best friends and have no hesitation asking him anything about dogs or bird hunting. We had our first litter a few years ago, and Don walked us through all the steps of whelping a large litter and helping find hunting homes for these fine dogs. As for Don and guide services, Don is the best he is candid, he is honest and would give you the shirt off his back to help you. I’ve had the opportunity to hunt with Don over the years and it is always created a memorable experience I look forward to hunting this fall.
