Where does training take place?
All programs are in the client's home. Our trainer will drive to you and train your dog in the comfort of your home. Field trips to local dog-friendly areas can also be part of the training plan.

Do you train aggressive dogs?
We are always happy to have a phone consultation to discuss each case in more detail; however, if your dog has previously put teeth on a person in a fearful or aggressive manner, we will likely refer you to a trusted trainer who specialized in those behaviors.

We do not adhere to one style or method of training. We look wholistically at the dog and family in front of us and find an efficient and fair solution that works for both the dog and the family.

The progress our dog has made under Sam’s guidance has truly exceeded our expectations. What stood out most was Sam’s ability to quickly understand our dog's unique personality and tailor the training to fit both their needs and ours. Every session was productive, thoughtful, and grounded in real-world application. We’re incredibly grateful for the impact Sam has had on our dog (and us!), and we’re excited to continue working together. Sam helped so much with my insecure yet opinionated northern breed. Not only did she train him to be a nice citizen, but she trained me, which is so important. We are continuing with her small group classes for graduates of her program and we are both continuing to learn so much. I can't recommend Sam enough!
Sam at Adventure K9 has done an amazing job with my dog, Fionna. I am impressed with how Sam can look at Fionna and know what her reactions are going to be based on observing her eyes, ears and tail movements, etc. Sam has helped me build a foundation from which I will continue to build.
