Where does training take place?
All programs are in the client's home. Our trainer will drive to you and train your dog in the comfort of your home. Field trips to local dog-friendly areas can also be part of the training plan.
We are always happy to have a phone consultation to discuss each case in more detail; however, if your dog has previously put teeth on a person in a fearful or aggressive manner, we will likely refer you to a trusted trainer who specialized in those behaviors.
We do not adhere to one style or method of training. We look wholistically at the dog and family in front of us and find an efficient and fair solution that works for both the dog and the family.

We were introduced to Sam through POSO rescue when we adopted our dog Gracie. Gracie has a lot of trust issues and is nervous around new people and situations. Sam quickly put her at ease and gave us guidance on how to make this easier for her. We were so pleased with the initial training that we did additional sessions. Sam's calm approach, ability to identify what works best for the individual dog, tools for the owners, and information on dog behavior was invaluable. It is obvious that she has a genuine desire to make our life with Gracie be successful and happy. We will use Sam's training in the future and highly recommend her!

Sam at Adventure K9 is the absolute best. We heard about her when we moved into our neighborhood, and upon adopting a puppy, we immediately wanted her help pointing him in the right direction. Over the course of six weeks, Sam gave us the tools and skills to mold our pup into a well-behaved dog. Her gentle presence is welcoming to all, and there wasn’t a question or issue that she didn’t have a solution to. We’d recommend her to anyone who wants a well-behaved dog.
