ADZK9S Dog trainer

Fantastic trainers!! I am very happy with the training that my dog recieved. I felt comfortable with leaving her. Doron and all the trainers are really amazing Everyone is friendly and you can tell they have your dog best interest at heart. At each visit I was given an update on her progress. As a newer dog owner I am very grateful for ADZK9. Since training was completed she has done wonderful at home. I had a need to board her and called on ADZK9 again. My dog felt right at home and was excited to see her trainers. I can't say enough about the care that everyone gave to Sassy.

Doron and his team are exceptional in the work they do. My dog is a large Daniff and had limited leash manners when she first started training. She was also hyper aware and at times reactive in public places and I was never sure who(person or dog) may elicit a reaction out of her. Doron and his expert team, specifically Rachel, really helped her learn discipline on the leash as well as the important skill of taking my lead and listening to commands. By the end of training she was able to heel, had a fantastic down stay, and many other skills. I also really appreciate Doron’s commitment to helping us after training by offering check-in’s and welcoming us to the ADZK9S family. If you’re looking for a trainer who will really love and commit to your fur baby I highly recommend ADZK9S.

The team at ADZ truly exceeded all expectations. My dog had severe aggression issues with cats—tragically, he even killed our older cat. Despite this, I had bonded deeply with him and couldn’t bear the thought of giving him up. As a pit bull, surrendering him would likely have meant euthanasia. Thankfully, ADZ stepped in with compassion and expertise. They enrolled him in their 8-week behavior program, and the transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. While he still has a stubborn streak now and then, as long as we stay consistent with the training, he responds beautifully. He used to be uncontrollable on a leash, but now—even my 5-year-old can walk him without any issues. The progress is incredible, and I’m beyond grateful. ADZ didn’t just help my dog—they saved him. I can’t recommend them highly enough

I cannot thank Doron and everyone on the team at ADZ K9S enough for their efforts in training our pup, Marshall. When we brought Marshall to them he was full of anxiety and highly reactive to anyone that wasn’t in our immediate family. It had gotten to a point where I was a nervous wreck when anyone new came to our home…even taking him on walks would be nerve wracking, as he was super reactive to other dogs. ADZ K9S gave Marshall the confidence he needed to realize others were not a threat, that he could enjoy everyday life and they gave us the tools we needed to maintain and build on the foundation they laid out. After only 4 weeks, we are at a point where we are excited to take him on walks, we can leave him in a down stay (off leash!), and sit with him at our daughter’s softball practices without fear of how he will react to others. We are SO glad we decided to invest in Marshall’s training and would recommend ADZ K9S to anyone considering it!

I chose to foster a dog who was on the euthanasia list. I’m also a volunteer at my local shelter, so I'm in constant contact with dogs. I don’t usually foster big dogs, and was adamant I would never foster an urgent dog…but when I met him I saw how incredibly special he was. I'm not at all new to positive reinforcement training for basic obedience, and I spent the first few months giving him time to decompress and developed a rock solid relationship while training him. After several months with us, I knew I wanted to adopt him. Could I have just kept doing what I was doing? Yes, but he wouldn’t have been able to reach his FULL potential, and there were some habits I couldn’t figure out how to break (jumping up on people and pulling while on walks). I set out in search of a trainer that was licensed, insured, and utilized positive reinforcement. I was unwilling to work with anyone who used fear based methods, or had an “alpha” mindset. After the countless HOURS of work I had poured into our relationship and his basic obedience training, I refused to send him anywhere that would break his happy spirit and ruin his personality. Enter Doron and team. What attracted me to ADZ K9 was the focus on the relationship between the dog and handler. I scheduled an assessment & tour of the facility and loved it, so I enrolled him in the 4 week program. I adopted him beforehand, having full faith they'd achieve my goals. My goals: no jumping, dropping whatever was in his mouth, no pulling while walking, and down stay for long durations. Having him home on weekends (this is optional) was a great opportunity for us put his new skills into practice with us as the handlers, and ask questions/fine tune things along the way. All of my goals for training were 100% achieved, and more. The training is so FUNCTIONAL. When I pull into a parking lot, I can open the door and he will stay until released. When we are in the yard playing with our little dogs, I can put him in a down stay from 50 feet away when they get the zoomies. When I’m cooking or have guests, I can put him in a down stay. I can walk around my neighborhood with him in the heel position with coffee in my hand. He no longer jumps on anyone either but he is still the charming, eager, and sweet goofball we love. The introduction of the e-collar into his training as a communication/accountability tool was the missing piece for him and took him the rest of the way. Everything fell into place very quickly as we saw each week and through the twice weekly progress videos. We may continue training in the future to see if he's able to be a service dog for me, and I will go to ADZ for this if we do. I 100% recommend ADZ K9 to anyone considering a board & train program. Even if your dog is “pretty good”, like mine, why not give them the gift of leveling up? Both you and your dog will be richer for it, and you’ll have an incredible team of caring professionals on speed dial if you ever need it.
