ADZK9S Dog trainer

Our AmStaff/bully mix Gracie was a rescue that previously received boarded training before we adopted her. She was still very stubborn on some commands, the previous trainer used way too many commands, relied way too much on the e-collar, and she was still aggressively reactive toward other dogs and territorial with new people. So, when we moved to our new home with dogs all around us, we knew she needed additional training and found Doron/ADZK9S. Gracie was the very first client at their new HUGE facility in Jefferson. Doron originally said it would take 4 weeks, but was able to release her back home after only 3 weeks! Her improvement in general obedience and her non-reactiveness to dogs or people is incredible. She will literally lay next to our fence while the neighbor's dog barks right next to her, and Gracie acts as if he isn't there. They also shortened the number of needed commands drastically. Sit, heel, down, no and her name for recall are all we need to effectively command Gracie now, as opposed to those plus drop it, bring it, place, wait, off, etc. Much simpler for us and Gracie! Doron and his entire staff are super caring and loving. Yes, they do use e-collars in training, but very differently from other trainers. ADZK9S know that love and affection are the most effective tools for training dogs like Gracie who had a rough beginning in life, are full of fear and lack confidence. There's a right and a wrong way to use e-collars, and these guys do it right! I highly recommend anyone with dog behavioral issues to bring them to ADZK9S. In addition to the great care and training, they are a top notch business operation with the largest dog training facility in the world and the communication was consistently on point. They also train rescues from time to time, so contact them if you're in the market for an already highly trained dog.

We truly cannot say enough positive things about this dog training experience! Everyone was absolutely amazing, and the transformation in our dog has been incredible. Even just having him home on the weekends, the difference was so noticeable. What we thought would be the hardest part—the drop-offs—ended up being the easiest. Maverick LOVED it there. He would get so excited every time we pulled up and clearly loved being with the trainers and staff. Seeing how happy and comfortable he was made all the difference for us—it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was not only learning, but genuinely enjoying himself. We would send any dog we have there without hesitation and wouldn’t think twice about it. Highly, highly recommend!

We absolutely love ADZ and appreciate all they have done and continue to do for our boy. We rescued a young pittie mix named Smoke with an unknown past who had severe anxiety and reactivity to humans and dogs. He completed the 5 week behavioral modification program, is OBSESSED with his trainers, and now has the tools to work toward a better life. He is always excited to visit and train, and he continues to improve on his impulse control every single day. One huge part of his experience that has made all the difference is the time spent training us as the owners. There is a constant open line of communication and they are quick to respond with helpful advice. Truly helping a reactive dog heal (not heel, they got him doing that like an champ already) takes time and consistency, and ADZ was the launch pad for Smoke’s second chance at life. The 5 week program was invaluable, and yet, only the start of what we intend to be a lifelong relationship with this dog training business. 1000/10 recommend!
