Aft Dog Training

We have 2 wonderful dogs who needed a little extra help. Well, 1 more than the other! Our little Callie was very leash reactive and became a safety liability and sadly, a little bit of an embarrassment. She would go crazy when anyone walked by or even looked in her direction. We decided she needed serious help and we were so lucky to find AFT! The change in her - physically and mentally is amazing. We can take her for walks now and she doesn't even flinch when we pass others. We're blown away. Our other dog, the big lab Franklin, was really sweet but too strong for his own good. He needed to learn to listen to commands better and not just react & pull. And he did! We will be forever grateful to the staff, especially Zee & Karen who were so encouraging and helpful throughout the process. They gave us the tools to continue the training at home and we know our little family will live a much calmer and enjoyable life! Thanks - Todd, Ali, Franklin & Callie

We took our dog Fudge for the 2 week board and train program that is offered. Prior to this Fudge would pull constantly on the leash when walking and also we do not have a fenced in yard with lots of deer around, so we couldn’t let him outside without being on leash. Anthony and his trainers did a wonderful job! Fudge walks beautifully on leash, where my arm is now down at my side instead of being pulled. We also have him outside with us and his recall is great. He has learned to stay by us and stays in place command even with distractions. I highly recommend AFT Dog Training as our dog was great to begin with, but they helped him be the best dog he could be! Our dog also loves to frequent their daycare and play with his friends!

I attended the Fall Pack Walk at Jacobsburg today with my friend and her dog who I occasionally dog sit for and was absolutely amazed by the conduct of all of these dogs. They were all very well behaved, even when we encountered another walker with a dog who was not disciplined...TWICE! I knew how my friend's dog was before she was trained and the difference in control and reaction now is astonishing. I was afraid to take her for a walk because I felt like I wouldn't be able to handle her but now I am very confident that our walks will be fine and I cannot wait to have a hiking buddy.

This group of amazing trainers with Anthony at the helm has saved my household! I can not say enough about how he helped our dogs and our family. I feel confident I will be able to keep my dogs without issues going forward. It is a long road for sure, with effort from both the AFT team and me as a dog owner. If I had not done my homework, I would not be praising the help I have received! They gave me the confidence and knowledge I needed to help my dogs be their best selves. This group of dog trains are the best there is!
