AG DOGS OBEDIENCE SCHOOL AND BEHAVIORAL SERVICES

We worked with Andre for 8 weeks with our 4-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Bentley, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Bentley has a TON of puppy energy and is easily distracted, but Andre helped him build confidence, learn to heel, focus with the “watch” command, and so much more. What really sets Andre apart is that he explains the “why” behind everything. He taught us how dogs think and communicate and, just as importantly, how we need to communicate with them. He even taught me not to get frustrated when Bentley isn’t listening, but to look at what I may be doing differently as the owner. That completely changed the way I approach training. Bentley absolutely loved seeing Andre every week, and we saw such a difference in him over those 8 weeks. The classes are small, so even though they’re group classes, you still get plenty of individual attention. I truly wouldn’t take Bentley to anyone else. Andre is an excellent trainer, and I can’t recommend him enough. Andre is a kind, patient instructor that understands the importance of strengthening the bond between dog and owner. He does a great job of building confidence in puppies and owners. I can credit his wonderful classes with helping prepare my show puppy for the hustle and bustle of busy AKC conformation shows, and having a very solid “off switch” where she will settle on command anywhere we go.
