Leonard was fantastic with our dog and I would absolutely recommend him! My boyfriend and I came to Leonard after having the hardest time with my 8 year old dog. He can be incredibly aggressive towards others and we knew that we needed professional help. What we started off with was an uncontrollable dog who pretty much got away with anything he wanted (growling at people, barking incessantly, etc...) Our little pup ended up staying with Leonard for a little over 6 weeks and the changes were incredible. I was a little hesitant at first since the process can be quite costly, but it was absolutely worth every penny. The first consultation is $250 and Leonard will credit that back to you if you do bootcamp with him. Whether it be fear-biting, or overall aggression, Leonard does a fantastic job of assessing the dog during the first consultation and going over what would happen at bootcamp. He has two wonderful dogs that are very well behaved that helped to rehabilitate our pup. He also only takes on two dogs at a time, so you can rest assured that your dog is constantly receiving attention. Throughout the entire process, Leonard sent photos, videos, and progress updates so that we were well informed. He will also ask you to come meet with him after about two weeks so that he may train you as well (there is more training at the end of bootcamp). It is very important to remember that it is not just about adjusting your pet's behavior, but is also about adjusting your behavior. Nonetheless, everything will be explained to you in detail and Leonard will continually work with you until you are comfortable with your dog. Our dog has been home for about two months now and Leonard still checks in on us. If we are ever having any issues, Leonard is always there on the phone to answer questions and hear out our concerns. Since the training is lifetime, he will continue to meet with you and work with your dog. If you are having any doubts, please don't. I would vouch for him any day!

We adopted a puppy so our other dog could have a companion or someone to play with. We had a aggressive behavioral and other issues (anxiety, anxious, dominant) with her and our other dog. We had constant dog fights in our home and it was pretty bad but thank god nothing serious just a lot of growling, barking and just plain attitude towards each other. We were stressing out so much that we had plan to give her up but I didn't want to give up on her, so I did some research online, went to Cesar Milans (dog Whispered) website and we found Leonard who could handle aggressive dogs. This is was our last chance to get her better and hoping things would be better and everyone would be happy so we decided to to contact Leonard to get both of our girls some needed training. We sent them to boot camp for three weeks. All I can say, I don't know what leonard did but we longer have fights, the puppy no longer vomits in the car, so happy about that. Any case Leonard guided us on how to handle and continue the training when we got home, we kept at it as leonard had instructed and everything was working as planned. No fights, they are responsive to our commands, just happy about everything, almost perfect. He gave us the tools to control both girls and any corrections when needed, the dogs are very resptive to instructions and all we can say we are very happy no more stress and pretty much a happy ending to our little puppy, she is a keeper. I strongly advise if you have any aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues, contact Leonard. He is very nice guy and he won't beat around the bush of what he see and what you are doing wrong with the dog. He will be very honest with you, no PC here just straight out honest. We learned many things that we were doing wrong with our girls and he was honest and we appreciated that. Because in the end of the day its not about us but about getting our girls better and to get along with each other and others as well. Thanks Leonard! Leonard has literally changed our lives. Our dog was a 1.5 year old anxious, fearful, stressed, aggressive and dominant dog when we handed him off to Leonard. Upon our first visit after 2 weeks Tim Tam already showed so much progress! We walked down Santa Monica 3rd St Promenade and he walked through it with a breeze. We were never able to walk through large crowds before. At the third week mark, we picked up an angel. He was so well behaved. He would walk without tugging. He would stay close to our body when we would walk past anything that used to make him nervous. He was capable of staying on one place until given command to leave. He was a well behaved dog that listened and respected us as his parents to be the alphas of the pack. Throughout the three week period we visited Leonard two times and each time we saw so much growth and change in our pup. Leonard also spent quality time with my husband and I. From all his teaching and tools that he gave us, we ended up learning so much about how we could be better not only ourselves as parents to our pup but also as a couple. We now have so many “tools” which we are continuing to use every so often to help keep our in pup confident, relaxed, and safe. We’re so thankful for Leonard - he really changed our lives.

I have tried just about everything to help my dog with her separation anxiety, including 2 other trainers. She has broken out of crates and caused massive damage to where I had to buy the Impact High Anxiety Crate. The crate holds her, but that doesn't help her anxiety. Leonard gave me a completely different training strategy from the other trainers, and to be honest, it makes much more sense. I now have a different outlook on what the problem actually is, and a way to work through it. He was spot on about every way my go would react to certain things, I couldn't believe it. I adopted my rat terrier, LJ Gibbs, when he was a puppy from the breeder three years ago. The first year I had him, he was great, but throughout these past two years he has become more and more aggressive. Specifically, he was incredibly over-protective of me, and did not tolerate large dogs, hyper dogs, or dogs that were not fixed. After not being able to control him, I called Leonard, and I am beyond grateful that I did! During the first 1 1/2 hr session before I left Gibbs with him, I realized i was leaving him in good hands. Leonard was able to read him and myself, and identify the core issue instantly. He worked with him for a short time, and there was already a change. I was very excited how the next three weeks were going to play out, and how much Gibbs was going to change, and let me say, that I was not disappointed. Gibbs looked to me for every direction, he did not move unless I told him to, when we walked through 1st Street he ignored the dogs, cyclists, skateboarders, and people. He was a brand new dog. I will forever be grateful to Leonard for what he taught me and Gibbs. This has been a difficult journey, and it requires a continuous effort, but I am now more equipped, and in control!
