Where will my dog stay during the board and train?
We have a climate controlled facility with 4 x 6 foot kennels with a dog door that leads to a controlled 4 x 4 foot outside kennel. So..if your dog gets hot they can simply walk inside and get out of the heat.

At the end of the board and train you can expect to spend 1 to 2 hours with me so I can train you up on the commands and the ecollar (that we give you)

We normally start training at 5 months for our board and train programs. If your dog is younger than that we can conduct one on one obedience training.

I just picked up my dog, Sadie, from the two week board and train program. Abraham has really worked wonders with her! I know there is still a lot of work for me to do with her at home but he really instilled valuable training with Sadie. This really gives me confidence when I take Sadie out in public. It was hard to be without her for two whole weeks but Alamo City Dog Trainers give the dogs so much care and attention. I highly recommend them!!

Finally picked up my baby from her two week board and train at Alamo City Dog Trainers and I am amazed at how well behaved she is. I took her to Petco right after i picked her up and there is no way i would have been able to walk away and take a picture of her like this before she went to training, she was so well behaved in the store, heeled the whole time and stayed when i told her to. Before i took her to training she wouldn’t listen to me, she would pull on the leash, she had no recall and would run off. All of those things have been fixed (plus more). I am so grateful for Abraham, he works some magic on these dogs! Now i am so excited to be able to take her out im public, on trips and on walks without getting frustrated. If your dog needs training I highly recommend Alamo City Dog Trainers!

Our dog is still a puppy so he needs A TON of work still but the difference between the pup I gave Abraham and the pup I got back is INSANE. His recall alone makes it all worth it; we can let him run an entire mile down the trail and he will return with two calls maximum. I cant wait to be able to have follow up in the house to see how much more we can improve the puppy missteps.

We took Samantha, our 11 month old lab/pit, to Abraham a month ago after seeing negative results at another training facility. We were shocked by her transformation from an unruly puppy to an obedient dog in only four weeks. When we dropped her off, she was reactive towards people and other dogs because of little to no leash training from her previous owners. After picking her up from the board and train program, walking on a leash is a breeze with her now; no longer do our shoulders feel as if they are being pulled out of the socket. Each time we leave our apartment, we tell her heel and she lines up right by our side.
Thanks to the hard work of, and the help from Abraham, we now feel confident that we can take her anywhere. We now feel confident that we can control her in high traffic situations and regain her attention quickly. We highly recommend Abraham to anyone looking for a trainer for their dog! Not only does he teach your dog how to behave properly, he also teaches you (as the owner) how to maintain that proscribed behavior. Thanks for all the help, Abraham!

Two weeks ago we dropped of a very anxious, rambunctious 1 year old. Today we got back a different dog. She’s attentive, wants to please and knows all her commands. Still has a little anxiety, but listens regardless, so I have no spine the anxiety will fade over time and she gains more confidence. Highly recommend Abraham if you’re looking to have your untrainable dog trained.
