Where will my dog stay during the board and train?
We have a climate controlled facility with 4 x 6 foot kennels with a dog door that leads to a controlled 4 x 4 foot outside kennel. So..if your dog gets hot they can simply walk inside and get out of the heat.

We normally start training at 5 months for our board and train programs. If your dog is younger than that we can conduct one on one obedience training.

We took Watney, our 3 year old Australian cattle dog mix, to Alamo City Dog Trainers to help get his high energy/anxiety under control and he came back so well trained.
Before training we weren't able to go on walks (or in public) with Watney because he was scared of most noises and barked at any animal that crossed our path. Now we love going on walks, visiting the deer and ducks in our local park with no issue. We've even been able to visit coffee shops and farmers markets with Watney with no issue, which is a dream come true.
I highly recommend Alamo City Dog Trainers if you're in a similar situation and need help. Abe is great with the dogs and he obviously knows what he's doing. It's been a game changer for our family.

My husband and I recommend Alamo City Dog Trainers! We boarded our Doberman Macaroni for a 2 week training session. We had issues with Mac being stubborn and not wanting to listen, we wanted to take him out in public but were afraid that he would run off. Abraham was great with Mac and posted several updates of his training sessions via Instagram, facebook, and tiktok so we were happy to stay updated on his progress, Abraham took Mac out in public and were walking all over the place, Mac was very well behaved. On pick-up day, Mac was still his very happy go lucky self, his goofy demeanor had not changed at all, this made us very happy. Abraham was very patient with all our questions and walked us through the commands step by step, he let us know that Mac is very happy but that we must be more authoritative since Mac likes to test his boundaries of what he can get away with. The impact the training has had is amazing!!!

He treats your dog as if it were his own, they got a long so well I wasn’t sure if she was gonna come home (jokingly)! All it took was one pre training phone call and I was booked and felt confident in his abilities and the results paid off! I searched for weeks for a good trainer and glad I chose Alamo city dog trainers.
