I suppose if you are an utterly clueless dog owner you might get something out of these classes. But I gave them two chances with two separate classes and only attended one class of each one. Both were disorganized and poorly run. There is no dog training "system" at this place, and it doesn't seem as if the instructors have had any formal education with dog training. There are no instructor bios on the site so I am guessing none of them have ever titled a dog. The methods are outdated and scattered. The "proofing" class started with a bunch of unprepared dogs going nuts while the instructor threw toys around the room. My dog did great but I did not sign up for six weeks of chaos with no clear method involved. What exactly does a dog learn from that? That is not "proofing." The second class I tried was also a mess. It started late, which annoys me when it's a "first thing in the morning" class, the instructor's "demo dog" didn't know any commands, and there was no system to the training. No basics were taught, the participants were just turned loose to bumble around the equipment. The instructor walked up to me while I was in the middle of working with my dog on focus and shoved her hands in my dog's face, distracting her and interrupting what I was doing. NO DECENT TRAINER WOULD EVER DO THIS, EVER. I asked her to never do that again, but with my other dog she did the same damn thing immediately! I brought my concerns up with the management, even though the poor instructor was one of the managers, but I was brushed off. What a waste of time and money. If you are at all serious about dog sports or training, find a better place. Unfortunately here in Anchorage this type of thing is about all we have, which is probably the only reason they are still in business.
