FirstBarkMy pup LOVES this place so much he can barely contain his excitement in the car when we arrive (ear plugs are a must lol!) He’s 110% all about playing in the water and adores the staff! It’s a great low impact exercise for him!

About Alaska K9 Aquatics
We offer recreational and therapeutic dog swimming in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a family-friendly environment offering a year-round recreational alternative to the local dog parks and lakes. We also have a small and select retail section for people who love to walk their dogs featuring Ruffwear, Hurtta, Freedom No-Pull Harnesses, and Help 'Em Up Harnesses. Additionally, we have two dog baths for the convenience of our swimmers, and provisionally available to non-swimming dogs as our schedule allows. Our bath stations are self serve, but attendants are on site if you need help. All sessions, both swimming and baths, are by appointment only and are entirely private.

- Dog Groomer
Program details
We have a very nice dog groomer "Kody" who is working Saturdays and Sundays. She can do a full groom on dogs 40 pds and under. She is open for walk-in nail trims for any size dog - however you will want to call first to eliminate a wait or a chance that she is off work that day. Please remember a rabies certificate is required if you are not one of our current swimming clients, and as always please don't bring your dog in if they are coughing. If you would like to schedule a groom please call our main line of 907-677-7946.

We were paying 120$ for 3 dogs for 30 mins every two weeks. Our time and support of their business was not valued or respected. Old review:This is a fantastic way to introduce your pups to swimming and keep them swimming in the winter. The crew is great to work with and flexes to meet your dogs comfort zone for being in the water. Our dogs a zonked out after a good swim.
