I have a strong willful 60 lb puppy, who I took to several puppy classes. Luckily I ran into two dog owners in New Canaan who noticed I was having problems with leash walking. (and some nipping too) They recommended Matt, and he was the right person at the right time for me and my puppy. its obvious he truly loves dogs, and understands everyone will have a better life when they have more confidence and consistency. Matt quickly "gets" both the dog and the human, and treats both with kindness and respect. I immediately knew I could trust him completely, and my puppy absolutely adores him. I will go back for necessary tune ups (probably more for me!) I would feel totally comfortable leaving my dog with him too. So grateful.

Matt is an awesome dog trainer and has loads of patience with me. My daughter's golden retriever who is 21 months old now is doing quite well under the guidance and training that Matt is giving to both Max and myself. My dog Loki went to Matt for the month long board and train program. A few weeks after the training there was an incident where several dogs got off their leash and got in her face. Because of the training she received she was calm about it and she did nothing- which is important since she is a large dog. It's a great feeling to know that she is trained and i can trust in her reactions even if i cannot trust in other people's dogs being trained and having manners.
