Thank you, Nate, for your kind words. Dogs do "speak" their own language and we can all learn to communicate better with our furry friends with patient and consistent behaviors that help us to "get on the same page" with each other. I don't know about being a "dog whisperer", but loving what I do really motivates me to try to better understand what can help every dog and handler work together successfully. We can all create better relationships with our K9 partners if we "listen" a little more. Thanks again for the positive review. My very best to you.

I have to start by saying that I was totally shocked when I read this “review”, realizing that what this person has said is so very incorrectly described and not based on the reality of what was going on, with me and my dog at the park. To better explain, I must tell you that a few years ago, I nearly lost one of my dogs due to an alergic reaction to a bee sting. One Summer afternoon I had to rush her to an Emergency vet clinic and nearly lost her because of the intense reaction that she had to a bee that she chased and caught and was stung by. The vet told me that if we had not gotten there quickly she would have died. That day, at the park, my Doberman, who I love dearly, who is very high energy and loves to chase almost anything, saw and was attempting to catch a large bumble bee. Yes, I respondly quickly and tugged very hard on his leash to try to avert what could have been a bee sting.His front feet did, in fact, leave the ground and I repeatedly told him him “No”, as he persisted in wanting to catch this flying “toy”. At 5 feet tall, there is no way that I could have lifted an 80 lb Doberman, who is taller than I am when he is standing up on his back feet, completely “off the ground”, just to explain how impossible this would have been I do not regret my actions…..I would do it again. I love my dog and would do whatever was necessary to protect him from something that might seriously harm him. If this person had come up to me and asked what the problem was, I would have gladly explained what was happening. Sadly, she chose, instead to make unfounded and incorrect assumptions and then publicly make accusations that are simply not true and potentially stain the name of my place of business by making a claim that is simply not true. Evidence of this can be found with the hundreds of disabled persons who have come to All 4 Paws Training and been assisted in gaining more independence through the training of a service dog. This person must have noticed the apron that I was wearing, full of dog treats, which were being passed out to my dog prior and after the bee incident. We should all consider that things, that happen in one minute in time, are not always as they may appear and this was a classic example of this. Though I hold no grudge, I simply had to set the record straight by coming here and explaining something that lasted mere minutes, but has been described in a manner that suggests that I would abuse my, or someone elses dog. People should take more care to assure that they know what is happening in any situation before they take actions that can hurt other people.
