All About Dog Obedience

I have known Robert and Brandy since 2020. We moved here with four German Shepherds and I'm also a volunteer with a dog rescue. This whole family is dogcentric about dogs, so I know I came to the right place. We have done day care, boarding and training classes with them and even this morning, we went to a really fun class. These folks know their stuff and if you're a dedicated and responsible dog owner, it will take time and patience to work with your dog, establish close bonds. I highly recommend All About Dog Obedience. They are very very special and my dogs love going there! It's training for sure but they keep a close eye on your dogs and most importantly they have fun learning.

Rob and Brandy are awesome. They somehow make every dog, and owner, feel like the favorite. I took my first Mal to them, a rescue, years ago. They turned a rough set of circumstances into an unbelievable family dog. Now I have a Mal puppy. And I had to put him in the hands of this organization. My puppy loves them to death, and is now behaving better than ever. Highly recommend them for all your dog training needs.

I am a converted skeptic. I was NOT at all a fan of the idea of e-collars or pinch collars because I immediately think of pain and damage to the neck. Also, demoralizing the dog. My doggy daycare lady however recommended them and her dogs are very happy, well adjusted dogs. I decided to give it a try because I could always back out anytime I wanted to. AADO showed me how to use the e-collar with a very low setting so that the shock is uncomfortable, but not painful. They also showed me how to use the pinch collar for very short corrections so we aren't yanking on the dogs neck or pulling with the pinch collar. It was a huge relief knowing that the corrections were more uncomfortable and less painful. I also was very happy that doggy bootcamp was just a daily option and not the type of bootcamp where you drop your dog off and see them 3 weeks later. I dropped her off and picked her up every day. I was so happy to see my girl each day. We are still in beginner class so I hope to come back to this review and update it even more once we've been here longer. Also, I find the prices to be very reasonable! I was worried it would be TWICE as expensive but at the time of this review the doggy bootcamp was $45 per day and the group classes are $25. Great prices! UPDATE: we have been in the intermediate classes for a couple months now and I can take my dog camping with me and let her do “free dog” on the beach! She is doing so good! She got too far from me and the waves were too loud to hear me, but all I had to do was press the vibrate button and she knew that meant it was time to come back. Not only are we getting our lives back, but now our dog can live her best life too and isn’t just trapped at home, in a crate, in a car, etc. She gets to participate now! UPDATE2: Jessamy and I are now in advanced classes and I officially have an obedient off-leash dog. She is so good that I only leash her when it’s required by rules/laws. We often walk without a leash at the trail behind our house. In the classroom I don’t even bring the leash anymore. She and I work on off-leash tasks and the freedom from it has been immense. We go to class every other week and as of Spring 2026 each group class is $30. Some of the best money I ever spend is attending these group classes.
