I can't say enough about how grateful I am for the incredible team at All About Dog Obedience — Rob, Brandy, and Taylor are amazing and have helped my rescue pup really thrive in her daily life. When I first brought Cora Mae home, she had very little confidence, was extremely anxious, and I felt overwhelmed especially in situations involving other dogs. I had no idea how to support her through it all and with my personal anxious nature it was rough to say the least lol. But after working with the trainers here she has truly blossomed and I’ve learned so much about her and myself too. The e-collar training was something I was initially skeptical about, but they took the time to explain everything and guide us through it thoughtfully. I quickly learned that it’s not about pain at all — it’s about communication. It gives Cora the gentle enough but consistent cues that help her refocus, especially in high-stress or over stimulating environments. Now she responds to commands even without it on in our home, and our walks have gone from stressful to enjoyable. But one thing I must say I am most happy about is the change in her confidence. She can now be in settings to play or be around other dogs and has continued to open up which I thought wasn’t something she’ll ever be able to do. And if she needs a little guidance with that I have the e-collar to assure me I can let her decide to make decisions for herself first, but step in if needed. We now navigate new environments with far more ease together, and overall my Cora girl seems so much more comfortable in her own skin. Watching her continue to grow into the dog I always knew she was deep down has been one of the most rewarding experiences! To add on, you can tell my dog adores her trainers here. On training days you can just tell by her body language how comfortable she is with them and can't help to say hi or be all over them during "free dog" lol — a true testament to the love and care Rob, Brandy and Taylor pour into every dog they work with. It’s clear they treat every dog like their own. I make the drive from Elk Grove to Newcastle, and let me tell you, it’s beyond worth it. This isn't just about training your dog — it’s about educating the whole family (p.s. she now walks great with my toddler in a stroller now which was one of our main goals) and building a foundation of trust, understanding, and communication. 100% recommend All About Dog Obedience. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my dog and our relationship. So if you're pondering on whether or not to go, just go for it :)
