All About The K-9

Just finished another fantastic intermediate class with Heather. My dog and I have learned so much and I look forward to this lesson every week. There are only six dogs in the class, and she gives individual attention to each of us. Every class is different and challenges, us and our dogs. It also creates a stronger bond between my dog and myself. My dog has gained a lot of confidence but I believe training is a lifelong mission so we will continue to take classes.

After we got a puppy, a neighbor mentioned how happy she was with her experience at AATK9. I decided to give them a try. We are now in our third class with Bri, and I echo my neighbor’s recommendation of AATK9. Bri has been awesome from day one. It’s clear she has great love for animals and a passion for training dogs. She is great at communicating expectations and giving real-time feedback. She is patient and always makes time to answer questions. Finally, Bri is accommodating and flexible, consistently partnering with the “pawrents” to find solutions, whether it’s specific to training, class attendance, or other admin-type “stuff.” We are really happy with AATK9, Bri, and the results we have seen. Our puppy has shown consistent growth and depth in her obedience, and we have grown in learning how to make puppy successful. It’s been fun to watch and participate in! Big thanks to AATK9 and Bri!

Heather is incredible and, in my opinion, the best dog trainer in the New Lenox area! She is so knowledgeable about different dog behaviors, patient, easy to understand and always puts your pet's safety first. I've been to group classes with my young Rhodesian Ridgeback with great success. My RR loves going! The facility is the perfect size and not overwhelming for dogs. I've been to others in the past that were too large and chaotic (too much barking going on in the background, etc ). I've also had Heather come to my home for a private lesson with my Australian Cattle Dog mix who has a challenging personality. We made unbelievable progress in just one lesson! Heather is, hands down, the best dog trainer around!

We have a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Birdie that we have been taking to Heather’s training classes. We love All About the K9! Birdie loves it too! Heather has helped us so much with getting Birdie off to a great start! Heather is so knowledgeable. She’s so great at finding the best way to make things work for your dog while also keeping it fun for them. Birdie and I both genuinely enjoy our training sessions every week. Thank you Heather!
