FirstBarkI took the Puppy STAR class with my dog Chewie and had a fantastic experience! The trainers were knowledgeable, helpful, and always quick to answer questions. We offer Puppy Class, Group Classes, Service & Therapy Dog Training, Private Lessons, and Board & Train. Training classes include Building Bonds, Socialization, & Distraction Resistance Exercises. We Help owners eliminate: Jumping, Nipping, Barking, Biting, Impulse Control, Resource Guarding, & Reactivity. Classes for dogs 8 weeks or older, only 8 dogs/class. Obedience Curriculum includes: Heeling, Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Finish, Recall (the Come) & All Off Leash Exercises. We offer Canine Good Citizen Testing: CGC, CGCA, CGCU, Trick Dog. Specialty Classes Include: Rally, Scent Work, Outdoor Classes, and Competition.

How soon can you start your dog in this?
They take new dogs weekly usually. They are absolutely wonderful about getting your dog the training they need!!! I have brought all 4 of my dogs here, & they don’t usually make you “wait until the next class starts” as there are Always dogs, & Their Humans in need of help!! 👍🏼❤️

Absolutely loved this experience with my puppy! Holly and Laura give amazing feedback during class and are eager to answer all your questions. The experience is very apparent. If you follow their instruction, your puppy WILL be hitting every command the first time. I will definitely be enrolling my puppy into the next level!

We recently got a mini Australian Labradoodle puppy, and I initially thought I could train her myself with a few books and YouTube videos. That plan backfired pretty quickly. Our puppy became so excitable that she would jump all over guests, lick them constantly, chew on their hands, and just generally overwhelm anyone who came into our home. She even singled out our oldest daughter—barking at her and stealing her things. We weren’t making any progress, and I knew we needed help. A fellow dog owner at the park recommended Holly, and I’m so glad they did. From the very first class, we started to notice positive changes. Holly’s methods were practical, clear, and easy to implement at home. By the end of the course, our dog had mastered commands like sit, down, heel, and quiet, and her overall behavior was dramatically better. But the biggest win for me? I now feel confident training my dog on my own. I didn’t just walk away with a better-behaved pet—I walked away equipped with the tools and mindset I needed to keep building on her progress. If you’re struggling with your pup or just want a solid foundation, I highly recommend working with Holly.
