Holly is extremely passionate about what she does and it comes through with everything she does. I have never participated in formal training like this and was a little nervous to start with my newly adopted shepherd from a shelter not knowing anything about his background or temperament. With only a few months of training, Holly helped us achieve our first ever titles for CGC and CGCA! Holly has been wonderful through the entire process and helps you with any questions or concerns you have. I am so grateful for finding this class and now a new passion I am excited to continue with for many years! Holly is incredible with our dog and with us. When we first adopted Kobe as a four month old pup he was very shy and skittish. Thanks to Holly we have been able to teach our dog many skills that can save his or others lives such as the down and the leave it. She will guide you and teach you how to train your animal in a way that is enjoyable for you and your dog. She is a great resource for the many questions that come up for pet owners and she will help you reach any goals you have for your dog. Plus, our dogs LOVE HER.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of training both of my dogs, Mischa and Yogi, through All Breed Dog Obedience Training from start to finish, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs’ education. I first came to Holly in early 2021 with my new puppy, Mischa. We started with the puppy classes, and within just a few short weeks, I knew this facility was going to be a new home for us. I shared my goals for Mischa to become my service dog, and from that moment on, the instructors became my biggest cheerleaders. They supported us through every milestone—from beginner obedience all the way to advanced off-leash work using only verbal commands. They encourage me to try new things and taught me to always advocate for myself and my dog. One of my favorite experiences was taking part in their airport and service dog training class, which led to Mischa and me boarding our very first plane together—an unforgettable milestone made possible by all the preparation we did. When we were ready for something a bit more upbeat, we joined the Rally Obedience and Scent Work classes, which helped us strengthen our teamwork while having an incredible amount of fun together. When my mom “accidentally” brought home a new puppy, Yogi, I knew exactly what our first step would be—calling Holly! I signed my parents up for puppy classes right away, and after graduation, it was clear Yogi needed the continued structure that obedience training provides. Yogi’s journey has been completely different from Mischa’s, but just as rewarding. With the encouragement of our amazing instructors, we started competing in Rally Obedience and Obedience Shows, and our coaches have been right there ringside—answering questions, filming our runs, and cheering us on every step of the way. Holly has been there through all of our best training moments—and even the tough ones. She’s always just a phone call away, offering advice, encouragement, and expertise. Because of the solid foundation and clear communication we’ve built through this program, both of my dogs thrive and truly love working with me. Holly has been an amazing coach and mentor to me, I am so grateful for all the knowledge, support, and pushing my teams to be the best we can be together. Holly Leas was our amazing instructor at All Breed Dog Obedience. We have a difficult puppy who challenged me every step of the way. Holly was always aware of everything happening in the room. She would give quick feedback on how to handle every situation and her direction always seemed to help redirect the bad behavior. Holly has so much knowledge about training dogs, and just dog behavior in general, that I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to her training classes. She offers many levels of various classes so there is always additional training available if thats what you are looking for. With her knowledge and experience, Holly is probably the best of the best in dog training in the Des Moines area. Her classes start/end on time, and she will stay to answer questions or give advice. I will definitely be going back for additional classes.
