All Breed Dog Obedience Training

After adopting our first dog Ozzy, a mini golden doodle, we were completely lost when it came to how to be the pack leaders Ozzy needed us to be. Fortunately, a friend recommended us to check out All Breed Dog Obedience, and wow were they right! We signed Ozzy up for the six week group puppy class where we learned how to start leading him, both in correcting unwanted behavior and encouraging him in his successes. Shortly after completing puppy training, Ozzy had the amazing opportunity to "board and train" with Holly (and her pack!) for a week when we were out of town. We met beforehand to discuss what training goals / issues we had, and at the time our biggest issue was sit/down stays (especially during dinner time). Upon our return, we met with Holly to go over everything she had worked on with Ozzy and the results were so impressive we almost couldn't believe it! Not only was he able to stay in a down /stay throughout dinner, he was working on his confidence to getting in/out of vehicles and so much more. We were so excited about his progress we simply had to continue training and have been through both Intermediate and Advanced group classes. We have gone from lost owners of a brand new puppy with the "zoomies" to confident pack leaders of a 1 year old that confidently goes on off leash walks around the neighborhood, handing other dogs and distractions like a pro!

Best training we have taken! We have seen such a positive transformation in our Great Dane since going through training with Holly and team at All Breed Obedience. We took our dog through puppy class and flexible intermediate to advanced classes and have seen so much improvement. After completing the 6 week puppy class, we took a break from training. As our dog started to get bigger, we began noticing aggression and resource guarding behavior towards our older Dane. As soon as we recognized it was something beyond a one-off situation, we enrolled her in the flexible obedience training classes to address these behaviors. Since starting the advanced training sessions, we haven't had a single incident. Holly's training approach and insightful feedback helped both our dog and us grow tremendously. We've learned subtle behavioral clues we used to overlook; cues that are now key to guiding her calmly and effectively. Beyond classes, our Dane has a calm temperament and the ability to appropriately respond to commands on and off leash. Everyday bonus - easy loose leash walks around the neighborhood and no pulling or adverse reactions to other dogs, kids, and distractions. Other training we have taken in the past for our other Danes does not compare to the value we received in Holly's classes. We plan to continue training, and we can't recommend this training enough for anyone struggling with behavioral challenges or just wanting a deeper connection with their dog. It makes all the difference!
